Susan Sarandon seemingly shared a message to Twitter evaluating cops gathered to pay their respects to fallen NYPD officer Jason Rivera to fascists on Wednesday.

The picture Sarandon posted featured a tweet written by podcaster Danny Haiphong.

The unique tweet confirmed a photograph of cops lining the New York Metropolis streets and skim, “I’m gonna tell my kids this is what fascism looks like.”

Sarandon’s picture added the phrases, “So, if all these cops weren’t needed for CRIME that day, doesn’t that mean they aren’t needed ANY day?”

It’s unclear if the picture was made by Sarandon or a re-shared publish. A consultant for the actress didn’t instantly reply to Day by day Submit Digital’s request for additional remark.

Rivera and Wilbert Mora, 27, have been shot on the night of Jan. 21 whereas responding to a report of a home violence incident in Harlem involving a mom and her grownup son, Lashawn McNeil.

Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue was a sea of blue on Thursday because the hearse carrying 22-year-old Rivera’s stays pulled as much as uniformed officers saluting the fallen NYPD hero. The automobile was escorted by police because it traveled to the historic St. Patrick’s Cathedral from a funeral house within the Bronx’s Riverdale and handed visitors stopped in all instructions alongside the best way.
