Georgia man charged along with his spouse’s homicide after telling officers she dedicated suicide: police

Legislation enforcement officers in Georgia arrested and charged a person with murdering his spouse Saturday in a case that was initially believed to be a suicide, police stated.

The incident came about in March when Jones County officers have been dispatched to the house of Shyanne Schroeder, who they discovered useless with a gunshot wound, WGXA-TV reported.

The “responding deputies got the feeling that something wasn’t right about this case, and thankfully they trusted their instincts,” Sheriff Butch Reece stated, in accordance with the report.

An investigation was launched and in the end decided the case was a murder that was allegedly staged by Scarborough in an try to trick the legislation enforcement officers, Jones County deputies stated.

The husband was subsequently charged with felony homicide in addition to a number of accounts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm whereas committing a felony, police stated.

In a press release, Sheriff Reece thanked investigators for avoiding what might have doubtlessly been “a huge miscarriage of justice,” WGXA reported.

Scarborough has a legal file together with an arrest earlier in March when he was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
