A Georgia girl is in custody Monday morning after authorities say she shot a teen within the face throughout a broad daylight street rage incident over the weekend.

Douglasville police did not instantly determine the girl or launch particulars on how investigators took her into custody.

The girl was driving a black sedan eastbound on I-20 round 4:40 p.m. Sunday when the capturing occurred, the Douglasville police said. She was believed to have come from the Carrollton space.

The girl took the exit at Chapel Hill Street after drawing a gun and capturing a 17-year-old within the face, FOX5 Atlanta reported, citing police.

The teenager was rushed to a close-by hospital and is anticipated to outlive, the station reported.

Douglasville police supplied a $5,000 reward for data that results in an arrest.

Douglasville is positioned about 23 miles west of Atlanta.
