Police are investigating a taking pictures incident in Connecticut Monday night after a number of bullets struck the house of a state senator, officers stated.

Connecticut state Senator Gary Winfield stated in a press release that he and his relations are “fine” after a “couple of bullet holes” struck his house.

“Hey all, thanks for the concern,” he wrote on social media. “I didn’t want to try to reach back out to everyone because that’s impossible. We are ok.”

The incident isn’t believed to be a political or focused assault.

The taking pictures comes the day after a Connecticut girl injured seven officers after she rammed their cruisers in her Hummer whereas making an attempt to flee detainment.
