The person who tried to set himself on fireplace in entrance of the U.S. Supreme Courtroom on Friday has died, Washington, D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Division confirmed to Day by day Put up on Saturday.

He was recognized as 50-year-old Wynn Bruce, from Boulder, Colorado. 

Emergency medical crews have been referred to as to the Supreme Courtroom round 6:30 p.m. ET

Bruce was rushed by medical helicopter to an area hospital.

Video from Day by day Put up’ Chad Pergram confirmed the second the helicopter landed close to the steps of the U.S. Capitol.

U.S. Capitol Police mentioned then the helicopter landed close to the Capitol for a “medical emergency.” 

The incident was not a public security situation, it noted.

In line with FOX 5, authorities mentioned Bruce died from the accidents he sustained.

Roads that have been closed in the course of the incident have since reopened.
